Does this pick-up stuff really work?

Have you ever been to see a live comedian? Did you enjoy the experience? I’ve seen many, and most have been great.

Imagine a guy meets an attractive girl, and the guy comes across as confident, chatty, friendly, perhaps a little charming and cheeky, interesting and witty, and there seems some chemistry between the two. Would the girl be interested in dating the guy? I think very likely!

On the other hand, imagine the same girl meets another guy, the guy doesn’t seem confident, he can’t look her in the eye, he keeps asking questions and offering to buy her drinks, there’s long pauses in their conversation, the interaction feels awkward. Would the girl be interested in going on a date with this guy? I think unlikely because attractive girls usually get chatted-up a lot so they can pick and choose their dates carefully.

Why would the girl be interested in going on a date with the interesting guy as opposed to the uninteresting guy? Because first impressions count! With the interesting guy, she suspects a date with him would be exciting and fun… a date with the uninteresting guy would be more of the same – boring and awkward!

Years ago I was the UNINTERESTING guy! I behaved in an awkward and un-confident manner. I didn’t know what to say, always asked lots of questions and offered to buy girls I’d never met before lots of drinks!

Now, I’m the interesting guy! I act in a confident way. I’m chatty, friendly, and a little cheeky. I can hug a girl within seconds or minutes of knowing her.

So, how does a guy go from uninteresting to interesting? In the same way the comedian develops his stage act – through a little research, practice and improvement, and fine tuning.

In no time you will develop your own act, and when you meet an attractive woman on the street, in a shop, club or bar, you’ll simply start your act and draw her in like the comedian draws his audience in. She’ll find you an interesting and unique guy – a guy she’d like to date!

At the moment this may sound very complicated but once you understand how it works, you’ll realise how simple and effective it really is. And once you’ve developed your own act you can use it again and again and again, in the same way a comedian tours a country with the same comedy act.
