Alex (PUA) Live Video Pick Up (Day Game)
Alex opens a 2-set with- “Excuse me guys, can I ask you a very quick question?”- giving himself an immediate time constraint. One of the girl’s replies: “we’re actually meeting one of our friends for coffee”. Most men would take this as a no, and give up and conclude that the “set” didn’t want to be engaged. Alex sits down- “That’ll be me then”.
Alex’s opener and approach are perfect. Not only does he purposefully misinterpret the girl’s initial reaction, he also manages to convey confidence and a sense of humour. All of this is conveyed to the set within less than twenty seconds.
Alex sits down in the middle of the set; this is good as it makes him the centre of attention. He then leads up to his “opinion opener“, putting considerable emphasis on the importance of the question and describes it as a matter of “life and death”. He then delivers- “Would you ever date a guy who still sleeps with his childhood teddy bear?” this gets a laugh. Not only is the subject a matter of interest to the girls, to most girls in-fact, but his delivery is particularly strong.
By putting emphasis on the importance of the question he builds tension within the set, they are eager to hear the question; this makes the actual unimportance of the opener even more effective.
Alex then goes on to root his question in reality and explains that he’s was reading an article that morning that covered the very same subject. This allows the “set” to feel more comfortable with Alex as it gives reason to why he approached them and asked them this particular question. It also gives them a common talking point that helps to build rapport, as everyone can give their honest opinion on the subject without feeling that that they are insulting Alex.
For nearly one and half years, I spent 1 - 5 hours most nights studying pick-up material.
I practiced picking-up women - or trying - mainly on weekends resulting in some of the
most hilarious, side-splitting moments you can imagine. I learned the hard way, the very hard way.
I am Brad, nice to meet you!
